Debt Free World offer the IVA package as an alternative to bankruptcy, the individual is contracted into a formal debt settlement plan and must make the agreed debt monthly payment for the duration of the term (60 months). We think this is a better option for non-home owners; in the case of home owners, creditors are informed of the value of any owned property and the outstanding mortgage to establish if any equity is available
